Hi Sonam, Thank you very much for your email. We had a great trip - Tashi, our tour guide was very good, friendly, funny, helpful and professional and the driver was also very friendly, helpful and drove very very responsible, which made for a very relaxing trip. Overall the trip was great, including the hotels. Only suggestion from my side would be in regards to the itinerary - I think for some days the itinerary leaves quite a lot of "unused" space, which could probably be filled with an additional hike etc. - given that shopping and/or exploring is quite limited in most of Bhutan, there is not that much to do on your own. In regards to Gangtey, while we in the end had a wonderful day, it would have been good if you would have pointed out before that the black crane research centre is currently closed due to renovation ... Tashi did come up with a good itinerary for that day in the end, but when we were first asked whether we actually want to go to Gangtey, as the drive is quite long and the centre is closed, we did not really know what else was there to see - in the end, we decided to go and had a great time, but it would have been better if you could have pointed this out to us in the beginning, so that we might have decided up front whether we would like to go there or plan something else for the whole day.
