I had an absolutely wonderful time in Bhutan

I had an absolutely wonderful time. Ugyen was an excellent, knowledgeable and thoughtful guide and very reassuring on the scary parts of the hike. Surdeep was absolutely fantastic - while his driving was also excellent, he was so much more than a driver, being extremely kind and helpful. I feel I have gained two new friends.

 

The crew for the hike were superb - I was extremely lucky to be able to do the trek with their support. Absolutely everything was thought through in advance and it all went absolutely hassle free (watching a parallel hike taking part with a different group on the same trek, I saw just had badly a poorly planned hike can go!). I really enjoyed the hike - seeing all the different terrain around the mountain and the experience of hiking up to almost 5,000 (in the snow at the top!) is something I'll never forget.

 

I would like to extend my thanks to you and the team for such a welcoming and positive visit to Bhutan. I've absolutely fallen in love with the country and hope I can come back soon - I will recommend you all to any friends interested in travelling there.
