Bhutan Travel Specialist, Druk Air Representative (Royal Bhutan Airlines)
Dear Sangay Dorji, Kuzuzangpo la! We had a very good memorable experience in Bhutan. We have a very good guide, Haba (Phub Tsering) and very a good driving skill driver, Panda. Vehicle provided was in good condition and comfortable, hence it helps a lot especially with the bumpy rides to Punakha and Gangtey. Nice hotel in Punakha and we were assigned to new wing in Hotel Dewachen in Gangtey. It was nice and newly built rooms, but when we woke up at 4am due to start our journey back at 5am. To our surprise, the room blackout, no electricity and we are not able to call hotel staff for assistance (no telephone) and no touch light provided in the room. We enjoyed Metta Resort & Spa in Paro, this hotel is well equipped and we appreciate the complimentary drinks provided during the cultural dance show in the hotel. Met the owner, they are a nice couple and very attentive to their customers. The 4 km trail in Gangtey is refreshing but we love the hike to Tiger Nest, steep & challenging yet its a very fulfilling hike, especially when we reached Tiger nest, the sense of achievement is really great. We learned and appreciate the culture of Bhutan, thanks to our guide who have taught us a lot of the custom and culture of his country. We love our driver, we believed he is the most popular person in Bhutan as everywhere we went, there are people calling out his name. We sense the friendliness of Bhutanese and hope your country will preserve its beautiful culture for long long time. Kadinchhey la! Thanks & regards, Leng Leng
