The Bumthang Mountain Resort has been family-run for generations, with the family matriarch running the kitchen while the children take care of various responsibilities from front of house to the restaurant and spa. The hotel has the most beautiful rooftop hot stone baths which are the only ones of their kind in Bhutan.

The restaurant serves up healthy, hearty and nutritious delights from fresh farm-sourced local cheese, seasonal fruits and vegetables, lean meat and freshwater fish.
