It was a real privilege to have Dr Karma take us on this Neykor tour. His ability to synthesize the history and complexities of the various schools of Buddhism to a comprehensive level yet interesting for the layman is incredible. This would be a good introduction for anyone with an interest to understand what really is Buddhism even if (actually, especially if) you are not a Buddhist. The tour was a good mix of both learning and leisure. We were taken off the beaten track to places where we would otherwise not have access to as a normal tourist. The winter month was ideal as the sunny blue skies were great for pictures and the evenings were spent indoors over good food and company (and reflection/contemplation). We had an amazing group made up of different nationalities but everyone had an open mind and heart which made this one week so magical! Thanks to Druk Asia for their flexibility throughout the tour, excellent selection of accommodation, food, fantastic guide and driver and inviting Dr Karma for this trip!
