Was planning a trip to Bhutan and came across an ad in FB by Druk Asia. Emailed them and the staff Ugyen Dema responded almost immediately. She provided all the essential info i was looking for and the booking of air tix and tour were done in an instance. That was how hassel-free the whole process is. Upon arrival at Paro Airport and clearing immigration, I was warmly greeted by my guide - Chencho lham and driver - Chimi. Little did I know that for the next 7 days, i am going to experience an exemplary service by both of them. Being a solo traveler and first time in Bhutan, Chencho first checked for my interests and dietry preference. One thing I love about Drukasia/Soultrips is how flexible the tour can be.

 

My guide Chencho is very knowledgeable in the history of Bhutan and especially Buddhism in Bhutan. We often discussed about Buddhism in Bhutan and Singapore and shared our knowledge. What really impressed me is during an incident when we were hiking down from the Tiger's Nest. I had cramps on my legs and Chencho immediately helped to massage my legs to relieve the cramps. It happened a few times down the hike and i managed to hike down safely because of Chencho. I don't believe I had experienced such exemplary service from a guide before. 

 

Will highly recommend Drukasia/Soultrip to anyone thinking of traveling to Bhutan and you can request for Chencho and Chimi. I will return to Bhutan again to explore further and for certain they are my first choice.
