Adding to their immersive experience, Tay and Tina donned Bhutan’s traditional dress, the Gho and the Kira and took part in Bhutan's national sport by joining an archery competition. On the 3rd day, they take on the challenge of hiking 7 hours under the Bumdra Trek, reaching altitudes of up to 3,800 metres, where they camp above the clouds amidst ever-changing weather—from scorching sun to sudden rain and chilly temperatures at higher elevations.

Throughout the trip, Tay reflects on the humbling power of nature, emphasising how the majestic landscape serves as a reminder of human insignificance in the face of such natural grandeur. Meanwhile, Tina, who is more accustomed to working behind the scenes, experiences the challenge of stepping in front of the camera and confronting the pressures of on-screen appearances. Their strong bond—cultivated over 14 years of working together—shines through in the way they support and care for one another, even amid the physical and emotional challenges of the journey.

At Bumdra camp, under the expansive Bhutanese starry night skies, Tay and Tina share heartfelt reflections about their experiences of working together and surprised each other with a gift. In the morning, they also took a moment to savour a cup of hot coffee while admiring the stunning panoramic views, fully absorbing the serene ambience of their surroundings.

While exploring the breathtaking mountainous landscapes, they take part in a traditional practice by hanging prayer flags along the trails. In Bhutanese culture, these flags symbolise spiritual blessings and positive energy. The vibrant colours, which represent the five elements, are believed to disseminate prayers, compassion, and wisdom to all beings when stirred by the wind. The ritual of hoisting prayer flags adds a deeper layer of cultural immersion and spiritual reflection to their journey.

The episode offers viewers a blend of adventure, personal insight, and a deep appreciation of Bhutan’s breathtaking beauty. During their Bhutan trip, Ping Hui and Tina visited Paro, Thimphu and Punakha. They also hiked up to 3,800m on the Bumdra Trek and camped overnight on the mountain, before visiting the Tiger's Nest Monastery below the next day.

When asked what the best part of the trip was, Ping Hui said: "It's hiking up 3,800m in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. The interaction with the local guides and the entire crew was playful and personal, but most of all, it's the view along the way, especially when we were above the clouds.

“Bhutan is a truly beautiful country. The people here are simple. When they speak, it comes from the heart. Their emotional and spiritual pursuits are far beyond what I expected. I’ll miss Bhutan deeply when I return home.” - Tay Ping Hui
