Words can’t explain the beauty of Bhutan and its people. Our guides were awesome with their professionalism, patience and attentiveness to our needs. We were well taken care of and felt like we were part of the Bhutan family. The hotel staff were polite and friendly making our stay a pleasurable and comfortable one. I teared on the last day as the week flew by in the blink of an eye. Brief as it may, the heart warming experience has changed my perspective of life. I see beauty in simplicity and simplicity in itself is deep with meanings. Special mention to our guides Dorji Tshering and Tshering Wang Chuk who put in their best efforts to ensure we had a wonderful and safe experience in Bhutan. I give them a 6 out of 5 stars

I have always wanted to travel to Bhutan and my only regret was I did not choose to go for the longer tour package. Ugyen Dema was such a great help for all my enquiries, to the purchase of the package and even the after service support. I was able to customise the itinerary to my liking and travel on my own so that I did not have to compromise it to fit other travelers. My guide, Tashi Chedon, and driver, Dawa Gyeltshen, were just as amazing. They welcomed me once I landed and made sure I was comfortable throughout the trip. Both made me feel so welcome that I did not worry about travelling solo. Highly recommend everyone to visit Bhutan with Druk Asia/Soul Trips. Nothing to fear, even as a solo female traveler, as you can request for a female guide. Looking forward to visiting Bhutan again and definitely will be going longer this time.

Bhutanese are one of the kindest , respectful , simplest and meekest people I’ve met. Definitely witnessed their sense of compassion to all beings, contentment and joy in the littlest things and their sense of community. I was welcomed with warm smiles & generously spoiled with goodness, genuine care & kindness and utmost service (like royal treatment!) by my guides tashi & karma - from soul trips co / druk asia and the ones from the hotels I’ve stayed in and every friendly face I met on the trip. I was traveling solo but they made me feel right at home, like I belong. Their pursuit of inner peace, mindfulness, and compassion is a way of life and not just a religious practice and it radiates. It is the land of happiness, indeed. this was a trip for the soul, and my soul was happy indeed.

Bhutan is a truly beautiful and peaceful country with amazing landscapes and the most friendly and kind people. We had an amazing week-long tour that covered Thimphu, Punakha and Paro, and we witnessed two Tshechu festivals in Thimphu and Gangtey. I don’t even know where to begin as there were so many memorable moments on the trip. Our photography guide Michael Lee was excellent as he had been to Bhutan 9 times before this and planned the itinerary for us. Our local guide Chencho Tsering was also exceptional - he was very knowledgeable about Bhutan’s history, culture and traditions and always so nice and helpful. He took such good care of us and helped me navigate the uneven surfaces and many steps we encountered along the way. Our driver Sigay was so nice too and a very experienced driver since some of the roads were steep and windy. Overall, such a wonderful team whom we were with for the week who made our stay so lovely.

Bhutan has always been on my bucket list and it didn’t disappoint. It is truly a beautiful country, with an amazing culture and lovely, friendly people. We joined Michael Lee’s photography tour and were treated to some heartwarming moments, like a visit to the Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup nunnery in Punakha where we got to meet the sweet and friendly nuns. That experience will stay in my heart for a long time. Kudos also to our excellent guide Chencho Tsering and driver Sigay. What I really loved was the flexibility, eg, traveling to more remote and less crowded places, and bringing us to eat where the locals eat, away from the tourist street (the best momos, better than all the fancy ones!). It gave the feeling of a less commercial, more personal tour. Thank you, and we will be back!
